How do you keep your ebike batteries secured?

I've noticed that some ebike batteries aren't really locked up tight. They come with a tiny, cheap lock. seriously, who trusts that?! I'm worried about the lock being cut and I guess what I want is to make it harder for them before they leave me with a bike without a battery!

Has anyone tried those Z Loks online? looks like a bigger zip tie. I think I can put one or two of them to keep the batteries secured and won't slide out. anyone here has tried it? Looking for more options. thanks!!!

Those stock locks are a joke. I've used Z Loks and they help a bit, but won't stop bolt cutters, maybe add a metal bracket or use a tougher U-lock too

You know there are battery covers with integrated locking straps, you can try checking those. you can also add a discreet cable lock, have it looped through the frame and battery handle if your setup allows it.

I've used Z Loks before...they're cheap and easy, but not foolproof, helps keep the battery from sliding out, but if someone's determined, they'll still get through, consider adding a couple plus a solid cable lock to try slow it down a bit
