Crank tool for my ebike project?

Anyone here tried converting into a throttle-only ebike? I got a used Norco Shore from the early 00's but it's well maintained. I am thinking of using Tongsheng 48V 750W rear hub kit for this project. Does anyone know which crank bolt removal tool I'll need for the original single-speed setup? Appreciate any advice!

You'll probably need a standard square taper crank puller like the Park Tool CWP-7. Make sure to check the threads aren't stripped. It's a common issue on older bikes. Anyway, that Norco frame sounds like a fun build. Throttle-only with a rear hub should rip once it's dialed in.

Standard square taper crank puller...like the Park Tool CWP-7 should do it, make sure to check if it's an older ISIS or Octalink style, but most were square taper back then and the Tongsheng hub should pair fine if the frame's dropouts can handle it.
