Giant Trance E+ motor noise

Been dealing with a strange creaking on my 2022 Trance E+ and finally tracked it to the motor mount. Found a broken bolt and the rest barely hanging on. Replaced them with fresh hardware and anti-seize. So far, the noise is gone.

Nice work tracking that down, motor mounts can definitely cause weird noises. Fresh bolts and anti-seize sound like a good fix.

Did you notice any change in ride feel after replacing the hardware, or was it just the creaking noise that disappeared?

Appreciate it, man. That creak was driving me up the wall for a while. It's incredible how such a small thing can make a whole lot of racket.

That's a great question I hadn't thought much about. The bike feels more responsive now that you mention it. I suppose I'd just gotten used to a bit of slop in the frame from the motor being lose.
