Mirror recommendations on my Lectric XPedition

I've had my Lectric XPedition for about a month nowm and I've realized how a good, clear view of traffic behind me is going to be crucial, especially when I have some gear loaded up on this cargo bike. I've been looking at some of the smaller bike mirrors but I'm worried they won't give me the wide field of view I need without my arm or shoulder getting in the way. I've seen some of those tough-looking dual sport motorcycle mirrors and I'm wondering if something like that would work well.

Are there other XPedition owners here? What mirrors are you all using, and where have you mounted them? I'm open to handlebar mounts but I'm also curious if anyone has found a good solution for mounting a mirror to the front rack. Any recommendations for a durable mirror with a long arm would be great! Thanks!

The little bike mirrors usually dont cut it, your shoulders end up blocking too much. Longer-arm mirrors, like Hafny or Mirrycle give a much better view and some riders even use dual sport motorcycle mirrors for extra durability. Handlebar mounts are the easiest, but if you want more coverage, mounting one on the front rack shouldd work too

That's a valid concern on a cargo bike, and you're right to think that small mirrors often don't cut it!
Have you checked options with Hafny and Mirrycle? Those two brands get a lot of positive feedback for their quality and wide fields of view.
They both offer handlebar-mounted options, which is the most common and secure place for a mirror.
The front rack mount is a creative idea, but I think it would likely require a custom clamp setup and could be less stable.
Most riders find that a good handlebar-mounted mirror is the best solution for the XPedition.
It's a simple change that makes a big difference in safety!
