Would you custom wrap or light up your e-bike

A couple of weekends back, I rode thru this quaint little mountain town during their annual bike fest. There were tons of e-bikes decked out in glow-in-the-dark decals and vibrant neon wraps. At night, the whole crew looked like one big moving light show,it might've been a bit much, but honestly, it was a blast to watch.

It got me thinking… what if there was a company that offered custom lighting kits, unique wrap designs, or themed decal sets for e-bikes? Would that be something you'd be into? I usually keep things pretty low-key with my own rides, but seeing those flashy bikes made me wonder if a setup like that could really take off.

Would you ever consider going for something like that, or do you prefer to keep your e-bike all clean and simple? I'm really curious about what you'd choose!

I'm usually with you on the low-key vibe for my daily commute, but picturing a whole swarm of e-bikes lit up like that I think is a different level of cool!
I wouldn't be surprise to see a company specializing in custom lighting and wraps taking off!
In my case, I'd consider a subtle lighting kit for enhanced visibility, maybe something that cycles through colors or reacts to braking.
I wouldn't get full-on neon wraps for my commute, but if there's something temporary I can put for a weekend group ride or a festival like the one you saw, I think I'd be down!

Did seeing those bikes change your mind at all about keeping things simple or is this like a business idea?

All jokes aside, it's not a bad idea, at least not as bad as it sounds. Even if you're not running with a crew, you might want to give your ebike some uniqueness. I still haven't bought mine, but this is something I'd consider.

I can definitely see the appeal of decking out an ebike with some cool lights and wraps and I think a custom lighting kit that's easy to install would be sweet, haven't done any mods myself yet anyway, I bet there's a market for people who want to stand out a bit but I dont know if there's hope for procrastinators like me
